I think his problem is that he 'loves football' so much that he can't see it for what it is.
While I never played, I do have an inkling about the physicality involved.
He seems to be so deluded that he thinks the sport is perfect.

Only if coach would have put me in in......we would have won state. No doubt in my mind.
I tried not to make eye contact. I was afraid he would have wanted a friend.

I think he and DJ are the same person at times.
no u dont have to play a sport to know it or be able to enjoy it...i think chubz has some serious problems though as far as social skills go. i'm pretty sure he still doesnt have a learners permit and he mentioned in a previous thread how he was looking for colleges to go to that offer computer design or something like that, but didn't want to travel out of the county. he said more then likely he was going to use an online college so he doesnt have to leave home.
